Course Overview
Your role in an emergency situation can save a life. Calling 999 is the most important thing that you can do. The sooner medical help arrives the better a person’s chance of survival. Basic First Aid covers – CPR, Recovery position, Use of AED (De-Fib), choking, Burns & Scalds, Bleeding and Shock.
A certificate which complies with Health & Safety Executive (HSE) in respect of the 1981 (First Aid) Regulations will be provided by Viking Training on completion of the course.

Assessment is continous through out the course, with students demonstrating competence through practical scenarios.

Viking Training asks that any person who is booked onto the course is physically capable of undertaking the practical sessions with being able to kneel on the floor. If for any reason you are unable to do so, please inform us and we will make any reasonable adjustment to the practical session so allowing you to fully participate in the training.
