The Managing Director and Lead Instructor for Viking Training Wales is Eric Jenkins. He is a retired South Wales Police Officer having completed 30yrs service. He has worked locally and all over the UK .
During his service he spent a number of years as an Officer Safety Trainer. During the initial implementation of this training he developed and conducted many exercises and scenarios to test the skill and knowledge learnt by the officers.
Following his retirement, he became a volunteer tutor / trainer with a worldwide voluntary organisation and continues to work for the organisation in Wales to this day.
He has been awarded a Citation and Dedication of Honour from the organisation for his training development in all areas of the services, in particular to Crisis Support.
Eric is a competent and experienced trainer who has over the years delivered many courses to a wide range of clients and organisations all over Wales. He is able to work with small groups or large organisations effectively and to tight deadlines. He will, if required, work on a one to one basis.
He can plan, design, develop and implement training or awareness sessions, accredited or non accredited to tailor your individual needs following a consultation meeting or telephone conversation.
Eric has also been involved in freelance work with other organisations and companies delivering their training, so is well versed in processes and procedures for a number of Awarding bodies that Training companies use.
He has also been working abroad in Abu Dhabi providing First Aid training to the Emirati Military which has enhanced his knowledge and skills in this area.
Whilst based within Wales, Eric has and is prepared to travel around the UK in order to provide training to companies, organisations & individuals who require excellent training at a cost that is beneficial to them, whether this is “In House” training or at a local venue.
