Course Overview

This course is suitable for people who need to provide first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work.

This is one of the most popular first aid courses and provides a good basic insight into first aid procedures required for small low risk workplaces.

The course syllabus is laid down by the Health & Safety executive in the Health & Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 Approved Code of Practice.

Scenarios and practical exercises which have been designed by Viking Training,  help delegates to learn basic life support skills and to improve their chances of coping in an emergency. The course content can be adapted to suit the needs of your organisation.

Viking Training asks that any person who is booked onto the course is physically capable of undertaking the practical sessions with being able to kneel on the floor. If for any reason you are unable to do so, please inform us and we will make any reasonable adjustment to the practical session so allowing you to fully participate in the training.
