Don't just take our word for it, see what people have said about our training....

Only today (30.05.2019) Sky News had the chair of the National Police Federation John Apter on their morning programme discussing recent information obtained in relation to Knife Crime. Operation Sceptre, a weeklong crime initiative on Knife Crime in England and Wales saw, 10,000 seized knives, 1,300 arrests and figures that show 3,540 knife related offences recorded in the first 3months of 2019, the highest recorded since 2011.

Much has been made about statistics, but the bottom line is that young people are being targeted in these violent attacks, with many of them being fatally injured.

At present, many solutions have been put forward but the assaults have continued. Do you know what to do in a violent confrontational situation? Are you aware of how to provide information at the scene of an emergency (like a stabbing)? Can you provide Basic First Aid to a friend who may have been stabbed? Are you aware of the law in relation to self – defence?

Viking Training Ltd are offering all organisations who engage with young people  “Street Wise”, a course which will provide information and skills on how to react in confrontational situations.

Know how to recognise the signs of potential aggression, how remaining calm to provide correct information to the emergency services and how to provide Basic Life Saving First Aid (such as how to treat Wounds & Bleeding) can save lives.

The course is ideal for young people aged 14yrs and above, via schools, community organisations, sports clubs, voluntary clubs (Scouts & Guides) anyone who believes that having our young people stay safe whilst out needs to speak with us.
